Health Commission
Health Commission:
The purpose is to develop and implement Health Ministry Programs.
Volunteers help plan and implement appropriate programs and activities to meet the needs of the parish. They help to promote health through frequent “health hints” in the Sunday Bulletin and bulletin board. They also help to promote special health days to raise awareness of the health ministry and to elicit the support of the congregational members.
Volunteers are also needed to visit the homebound and parishioners who are in nursing homes. This ministry can include visiting and bringing the Eucharist to these members of our parish or simply visiting.
Membership is open to all parish members interested in helping to promote health awareness in the parish.
